  • Each collective of subscribers is assigned a team leader. The team leader will be responsible for communicating any issues experienced by subscribers with Virtual Village Classroom. You can always expect a response from our team within 24 hours. We also work closely with your school’s IT department when necessary. For general questions, contact info@vvclassroom.com.

As soon as you subscribe, your team leader will be guided through a tech check. This is where we assure that all of the teachers’ devices meet the minimum requirements and that each user can expect an optimal experience accessing all of the content offered in Weekly Writer.

  • If for any reason you cannot read your content, please refer to the minimum requirements we’ve listed in this column.

We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser when accessing Weekly Writer.

If problems persist, notify your team leader.

  • The most common issues with viewing a Weekly Writer video come from poor internet connection. Allow your video to load by clicking play on the video window and immediately pressing pause. The video will be loading in the background.

If your internet connection seems to be working fine, make sure your flash player is up to date on your computer. You can check this here:

  • In each publication you will see a Virtual Village Flip App Code Generator. This code generator allows you to create an access code to give to your students. You control which publication and which pages your students can access and what window of days they have to access to the content. Once you’ve generated the access code, have your students copy it and type it into our VVFlip App found in the Android and iOS App Stores.

If your student does not have access to a tablet or smart phone, they can utilize our VVFlip widget found on our homepage. This widget does not require the user to be logged in and is as easy to use as the App.

  • Weekly Writer is great for small groups and individualized learning environments. The publication is easy to navigate for a student on his or her own under the supervision of the subscriber, or they can utilize our Virtual Village Flip App. This allows your students to access the publication at home and utilize class time for one-on-one instruction.

  • Since Weekly Writer is accessible through your browser, you just need a projector or large enough screen to show it to your classroom. Since our weekly video is such a key component to our product, we recommend using external speakers on your computer.
